Rose Hartley SA Writers CentreRose Hartley is a freelance copywriter and an emerging creative writer from the Adelaide Hills. After moving to Melbourne in 2003 to complete her undergraduate degree in Creative Arts (creative writing major) at the University of Melbourne, she worked first as a feature writer for trade magazines and later as a copywriter for World Vision Australia, travelling to remote areas of Kenya, Tanzania, Bolivia and Ecuador to interview subjects and create fundraising campaigns.
In mid-2013 Rose returned to Adelaide to focus on creative writing. At the time of writing, her fiction manuscript The Caravan is shortlisted for the Varuna Publisher Introduction Program.
