Kate Willson

Kate Willson has lived half her life in New Zealand and half in Australia. She grew up reading books under the blankets by torchlight. Her goal is to write books that have children reaching for their torches too. Now living in Adelaide, Kate works as an invigilator for UniSA when she's not busy with everything that links kids and books. Kate has published a number of short stories and two children's novels – Race For Home (Ginninderra Press) in 2007 and Have A Go, Henry! (Celapene Press) in 2012. Nine year old Henry Matheson is desperate to find a sport he is good at so his parents will be as proud of him as they are of his sickeningly successful big sister, Miss Super Duper Suzy.
