Kate Willson
Kate Willson has lived half her life in New Zealand and half in Australia. She grew up reading books under the blankets by torchlight. Her goal is to write books that have children reaching for their torches too. Now living in Adelaide, Kate works as an invigilator for UniSA when she's not busy with everything that links kids and books. Kate has published a number of short stories and two children's novels – Race For Home (Ginninderra Press) in 2007 and Have A Go, Henry! (Celapene Press) in 2012. With Grandma Lulu's encouragement and her never-ending sayings ringing in his ears, he persists. Eventually Henry finds what it is he's good at but it's not something anyone would have guessed.
