Rachel Hennessy

rachelhennessy_small Rachel Hennessy's first novel The Quakers won the Adelaide Festival Unpublished Manuscript Award and was published by Wakefield in early 2008. Her second novel 'The Heaven I Swallowed' was recently named Runner Up in the 2008 Australian/Vogel Award and is under consideration for publication with Allen & Unwin. Rachel has lived in Canberra, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, London, Adelaide and, now, Melbourne. One day she may settle down and grow vegetables but she doesn't know when yet.
