Kimberley Mann
Kimberley grew up in Alice Springs. Her poetry has been published in journals, newspapers, on parking meters and in books. Kim co-wrote a libretto performed by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. With a Master of Arts in Creative Writing she began to publish her short stories. In 2006 she won a Prose Masterclass with Peter Bishop, 2008 a Fellowship at Varuna with Ron Pretty. Awake During Anaesthetic, a collection of poetry launched at the 2009 Sydney Writers’ Festival, is her first book. She reviews for the Adelaide Fringe, works as a counsellor and lives by the sea with her cat.
