Phil Cummings

Phil Cummings has written over fifty books for children, from picture books to novels. His picture book Boom Bah! was brought to the stage by the Windmill Theatre Company in 2008. A number of his works have been published overseas. He has received a number of awards for his work including his novel Danny Allen was Here being shortlisted for the Adelaide Festival of Arts children’s book award. He has worked with the Little Big Book Club to produce lullabies and a picture book to be disturbed to all newborns in South Australia through Public Libraries. Phil has also been the recipient of an Australia Council grant to further his writing career.
