* The Centre accepts Centrelink Health Care Cards and Student cards; you’ll be asked to provide the CRN (Customer Reference Number) or student number from your card when filling out the online application form.

- receive discounted for room hire
Writing Groups - $90
For Writing Groups that don't meet at the Centre.
- have a Profile placed on our website, with a description of your writing group’s area of interest and contact details
- recieve a copy of Southern Write, our quarterly magazine keeping you in touch with writing activities, publishing markets, news, opportunities, writing competitions and much more
- have free use of the centre for 1 book launch per year (conditions apply)
- attend launches organised by the Centre
- receive discounted for room hire
Writing Groups Plus - $132
Becoming a Writing Group Plus member means you’ll have a central meeting place in the city, close to public transport and parking. Your group will also be able to
- have a Profile placed on our website, with a description of your writing group’s area of interest and contact details
- 20 hours free use of the Centre’s rooms annually for member groups
- recieve a copy of Southern Write, our quarterly magazine keeping you in touch with writing activities, publishing markets, news, opportunities, writing competitions and much more
- choose between our two spacious meeting rooms
- have access to kitchen facilities
- use of whiteboard and markers
- use of data projector and screen by prior arrangement (cost $50.00 per session)
- have free use of the centre for 1 book launch per year (conditions apply)
- attend launches organised by the Centre
- receive discounted for room hire
