Free Evening for Young Writers

Voiceworks_Winter_180SA Writers Centre and Voiceworks have got both your practical and party wordnerd needs covered on July 4. Kicking off at 5pm, Voiceworks editor Kat Muscat will be running a workshop on the eternal question that plagues us: 'How to Get Published'. More particularly this will include a presentation on the best ways to ensure your writing is up to scratch, a brief orientation of different publications and how to approach them, as well as possible solutions for the problems young writers routinely face. There will also be a Q&A to address any particular queries directly and have a general chat.

This will be followed up with a launch of the latest issue of Voiceworks #93 'Cell'. With readings from local talent and a brief excerpt from the magazine itself, this is not a night to be missed. So come hone your skills, meet other lovely writers just like you, listen to some inspiring stuff and continue those general writerly chats with a drink in your hand.
