Bill 'Swampy' Marsh
Bill is an award-winning writer/performer of stories, songs and plays. He’s a teacher and mentor through TAFE SA plus runs workshops in schools and communities. His first collection of stories, Beckom Pop. 64, was published in 1988, Old Yanconian Daze (1995), Looking for Dad, (1998). Then came Great Flying Doctor Stories, Great Australian Shearing Stories, Great Australian Droving Stories, Great Australian Railway Stories, More Great Australian Flying Doctor Stories, Great Australian Stories – Outback Towns and Pubs. His ‘novel-biography’, Goldie was published in 2008. The ABC Book of Great Aussie Stories for young people plus New Great Australian Flying Doctor Stories (2010).
